SIZE:12.6”x 11.4 ”x 16.8 ”(L x W x H),larger than most competitors in the market.Ideal for small to medium sized dogs and all sized cats.Weight may be misleading to determine whether or not a pet would fit. It is best to measure your pet’s height and length (and measure the space your pet takes up while laying down curled up) and compare those measurements with the dimensions of this backpack (16.8″ H x 12.6″ L x 11.4″ W)while standing up in backpack-mode and 16.8″ long x 12.6″ wide x 11.4″ tall while laying down on its side in airplane-travel-mode).
Please note the following things before purchasing
Measuring your pet – LENGTH: neck to base of tail; HEIGHT: floor to top of shoulderA pet traveling in cabin must be carried in an approved hard-sided or soft-sided kennel. The recommended maximum dimensions for soft-sided kennels are 18 inches long x 11 inches wide x 11 inches high (46 cm x 28 cm x 28 cm). Soft-sided pet carriers may exceed these dimensions slightly, as they are collapsible and able to conform to under-seat space without blocking the aisle. Always keep in mind each airline sets their own specific requirements, and they can even vary from their domestic, international, and shuttle services so it is always advised to check with your airline of choice.
